Audrey is a nationally certified Physician Assistant. As a lifelong Alaskan, she is passionate about providing quality care to the people of her home state. She has experience in Neurosurgery, Interventional Pain Management, Urgent Care, and Rural Medicine bringing a broad-based knowledge to the practice.
She attended the University of Alaska and graduated with a double Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences and Psychology. Following graduation, she worked as a mental health clinician for several years. Because of this experience, she understands many elements of the psychology of pain and strives to incorporate this into every level of patient care. She is a strong believer in a multimodal approach to pain management.
Later she attended the University of Washington MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant program. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Audrey leads an Acute Pain Service at Alpenglow Pain and Wellness to help better accommodate same day pain needs. As part of this new service, she performs trigger point and Toradol injections for acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain and offers normal saline infusions as well as the aforementioned for several types of headaches.
In her free time, she enjoys many Alaskan outdoor activities including fishing, camping, ATVs, building campfires, and quality time with friends, family, and her dogs. She is an avid traveler and is always excited to learn about different cultures and lifestyles.
