Meet Crystal Leturno, LMT

Originally from Pennsylvania, our wonderful Licensed Massage Therapist, Crystal Leturno, has called Alaska home for over a decade. She has a passion for holistic health and massage with over 1,000 hours of education and training in massage and yoga and is learning more all of the time.

Crystal received her massage education at Asheville School of Massage in North Carolina and her yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India between 2018 and 2019. She primarily worked as a clinical massage therapist, helping patients with chronic pain, accident/injury recovery, and mood disorders such as anxiety. She loves combining massage therapy with movement which is what led her to pursue teaching yoga. Each massage is tailored to the patient’s needs and could involve massage techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Assisted Stretching.

Yoga and massage are a natural pairing when working through these challenges which is why Crystal is so excited to have received her Yomassage certification in 2021. Yomassage gives people an opportunity to receive healing touch at a price that is more accessible than a private massage session, in a setting that is inclusive and inviting.

She considers herself a lifelong learner and is dedicated to continuing her education in the most up to date research and various techniques for the benefit of herself and her patients.

She is an outdoor enthusiast, world traveler, and enjoys various arts and crafts projects. She believes variety is the spice of life and that a youthful body is one that moves with ease.
