A stellate ganglion block (SGB) can help ease your long haul COVID symptoms, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) symptoms. It may even benefit those with anxiety and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). VITAMIN C INFUSION THERAPY

WHAT IS VITAMIN C?

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a powerful antioxidant and essential nutrient that supports immune function, collagen production, and cellular defense against oxidative stress. While oral Vitamin C is helpful, high-dose intravenous (IV) therapy allows for significantly greater absorption and therapeutic levels that can’t be achieved through diet or supplements alone.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

✔ Enhanced immune function and infection resistance
✔ Reduced oxidative stress and inflammation
✔ Collagen support for skin, joints, and vascular health (Helpful for hEDS)
✔ Vitamin C skin glow
✔ Cellular detoxification and mitochondrial protection
✔ Cognitive support and neurotransmitter balance

WHAT IS NEXT?

Dosing is tailored to your personal goals and tolerance. We typically begin with a starting dose of 8 g Vitamin C and adjust upward as tolerated, depending on the treatment goals. Dosing Guideline Examples:

General Wellness and Longevity: 8–10 g Vitamin C. This will likely be paired with glutathione and NAD+ for antioxidant support and cellular rejuvenation.

Energy and Detoxification: 10–15 g Vitamin C. Targets oxidative stress, toxin clearance, and energy support (often combined with glutathione and NAD+).

Cognitive Longevity and Neuroprotection: 8–10 g Vitamin C. Supports brain health, neurotransmitters, and neuroprotection.

FREQUENCY

Treatment will occur weekly for a duration of 4 to 8 weeks during the induction phase, followed by monthly maintenance. For individuals undergoing high-stress or detox-focused protocols, biweekly sessions may be recommended.

WHAT TO EXPECT

On the day of your infusion:

  • Hydrate well to facilitate IV access.
  • Take any prescribed blood pressure medication as directed.
  • A clinical staff member will obtain IV access before starting the infusion.
  • Infusions typically last 45-75 minutes and are administered slowly to minimize discomfort.
  • During the infusion, some patients may feel mild warmth, lightheadedness, or tingling. These effects are temporary and subside after the session.

SIDE EFFECTS

As with any medical procedure, there are potential risks and side effects. While generally well tolerated, IV Vitamin C does have a few considerations:

  • Temporary fatigue or lightheadedness
  • Mild nausea or flushing
  • Metallic taste during infusion

Most patients feel refreshed and energized after their infusion, with effects lasting several days to weeks depending on individual biochemistry.
