WHAT IS NAD+?
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in all living cells. It plays a crucial role in energy production, DNA repair, and cellular health. As we age, NAD+ levels decline, which may contribute to fatigue, cognitive decline, metabolic issues, and sleep disturbance. By the age of 50, we have lost half of our NAD+ potential. NAD+ is not well absorbed orally. NAD+ Infusion Therapy are designed to replenish these levels, supporting overall well-being and vitality.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
✔ Better sleep including objective increase in REM and deep sleep stages ✔ Increased energy and reduced fatigue ✔ Enhanced cognitive function and mental clarity ✔ Support for cellular repair and anti-aging benefits ✔ Improved metabolism and weight management ✔ Recovery from Long Haul COVID ✔ Improved Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
WHAT IS NEXT?
Initially, we recommend initiating a “front load” regimen, which ideally would involve five infusions administered every other day to get a proper NAD+ foundation established. After which, these can then be extended to once monthly or as needed per the patient’s specific goals and duration of benefit.
WHAT TO EXPECT
On the day of your infusion:
- Hydrate well to facilitate IV access.
- Take any prescribed blood pressure medication as directed.
- Take methylated B-complex daily the week of infusions
- A clinical staff member will obtain IV access before starting the infusion.
- Infusions typically last 45-75 minutes and are administered slowly to minimize discomfort.
During the infusion, some patients may feel mild nausea, warmth, lightheadedness, or tingling. These effects are temporary and subside after the session.
SIDE EFFECTS
As with any medical procedure, there are potential risks and side effects. While uncommon, some patients may experience:
- Mild nausea or flushing
- Headache or dizziness
- Temporary muscle aches or fatigue
Most patients report feeling refreshed and energized following treatment, with benefits lasting for days or even weeks.
